The project team at University of Oulu studies the changing quality requirements of architectural design of wooden buildings and the ability of customized products to meet customer expectations. They will also research the effects of product systems and customization on supply chain efficiency and quality.

Based on this research, the project team at Centria will develop a product configurator for wooden buildings that considers the requirements and constraints of the supply chain.

The project is coordinated by Centria University of Applied Sciences with University of Oulu as a partner.
