The advanced studies focus on specific issues of industrial management and the development of production processes and quality.
The contact teaching will be organised on our Talonpojankatu campus in Kokkola on weekdays. The studies also include online lessons and independent work. In addition to traditional lectures, you can also practise your teamwork skills in different group works and assignments. You will also get to do laboratory practices together with your fellow students. During your studies, you will also visit local businesses and get to know their operations. On several courses, we also have work-life representatives and experts as visiting lecturers. You will also have the chance to take part in different projects in which you can work with a customer company. The projects are a great opportunity to demonstrate your skills and gather contacts in corporate life – and by doing that, you might even get a summer job or a permanent position in some company.
