Ideas for Development Work
Come and chat with our experts – they’ll be happy to share how you can benefit from our diverse and international activities. We offer services and are looking for partners for our projects. Centria runs over 100 projects annually, more than a quarter of which are international.
Come and discover
- Chemistry and bioeconomy: Turning weeds into valuable raw materials! Where can renewable battery raw materials be found, and how can industrial side streams be put to good use? What are sustainable, recyclable plastic composites like, and what can be 3D printed with them? How can low-carbon energy and recycled fertilisers be produced efficiently, and what does a biogas container look like? Come and see!
- Entrepreneurship and business: How can cultural heritage be turned into a service? How is remote work managed? How can innovation capabilities or responsibility themes be developed? What exactly is entrepreneurship education, and how does it relate to everything else? You will find answers to these and many other questions related to entrepreneurship and business from the experts of the Entrepreneurship and Business team.
- The Well-being and Health team examines well-being through culture, communities, and technology. Current topics include the joint development of wellbeing and health technology, the wellbeing effects of nature and culture, community wellbeing, and the development of cultural heritage education. The open house event will showcase the team’s activities and opportunities for collaboration.
- The Robotics and Artificial Intelligence research group participates in significant research and development projects, develops robotics solutions, and utilises machine learning in various applications. The group produces high-quality publications, supports the advancement of doctoral education at Centria, and works closely with international networks. The technologies are put into practice in companies and everyday life, and the latest information is utilized as part of teaching.
- And much more! Come and see for yourself!
