The purpose of the Research Forum is to strengthen dialogue among researchers and teachers of the strategic partner institutions—SEAMK, SAMK, and Centria—and to catalyse new collaboration.

Call for Papers — Centria–SAMK–SEAMK Research Forum 2026

The event is jointly organised by Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SEAMK), Satakunta University of Applied Sciences (SAMK), and Centria University of Applied Sciences. Now held for the fifth time, the Research Forum invites contributions under the following themes:

  1. Entrepreneurship and Business Development
  2. Food Value Chain
  3. Individual and Societal Well-being
  4. Industry Transformation
  5. Social Sustainability
  6. Energy Transition, Circular Economy, and Supply Security
  7. Research Methods (with the paper’s main emphasis on the use of diverse research methods)
  8. Doctoral Students’ Dissertation Plans.

The purpose of the Research Forum is to strengthen dialogue among researchers and teachers of the strategic partner institutions—SEAMK, SAMK, and Centria—and to catalyse new collaboration. We welcome a broad, multidisciplinary audience. Abstracts may be submitted for research papers, doctoral theses and dissertation plans, project presentations, and teaching cases. Teaching cases are particularly welcome.

Key dates:

Abstract submission deadline: 10 December 2025 (notification of acceptance by 13 January 2026)

Full paper deadline: 4 March 2026.

A digital proceedings volume of research papers will be published in Centria’s publication series in spring 2026. Research papers may be written in Finnish or English.

Send your abstract via this link:

Please describe in the abstract the paper’s objective and central idea as well as its contribution/novelty; any data and method; and the key results/conclusions. Length: 200–300 words.

A separate author template (with formatting instructions) will be provided for full papers. Final paper length: 6–10 pages.
