Globalink Research Internship in Canada accepting student applications starting early August 2026
The Globalink Research Internship, which provides a 12-week research project at Canadian universities for high-achieving undergraduate or combined undergraduate/master’s program students from around the world, is accepting student applications starting in early August 2026.
Approved students will travel to Canada between May and October 2027, where they will work with a faculty supervisor and other researchers at their host universities. Globalink research interns receive:
- Funding to contribute to the cost of a round-trip airfare to Canada (amount varies depending on country of origin);
- Stipend for housing and living expenses (amount varies depending on country of origin);
- Support from student mentors on campus in Canada;
- Registration for industry events and professional development courses;
- And much more!
The GRI web site will be updated with the info on 2027 internship application round during second week of June but while you wait, you can start preparing for your application now: the GRI website has a list of items you need to have ready for your application form. You can also
