Information regarding Centria’s tuition fees and scholarship policy
To ensure the quality of studies and granted degrees, some corrections have been made to Centria’s tuition fees and scholarship policy starting from study year 2023 – 2024.
For Bachelor’s scholarships
- The credits considered for scholarship must be earned during student’s current study right at Centria and be in accordance with the PSP.
- The credit requirement for scholarships will be 60 credits per study year.
- The policy of granting scholarships when a student is missing less than 30 credits before graduation will end.
- Scholarships will not be granted for studies exceeding regular completion time.
Note, that for the scholarship application in fall 2023, the requirement is still 55 credits as was informed earlier.
Other things
- Students are obliged to inform student services/admissions services about the changes in their residence permits. Possible changes affecting tuition fees will come in effect from next semester (after the change is notified).
- The last dates to deliver a residence permit decision affecting tuition fee payments are
- 31.8.2023 for fall semester 2023
- 31.12.2023 for spring semester 2024
- The due dates for tuition fee payment in study year 2023 – 2024 are
- 15.8.2023
- 31.11.2023
Payment instructions will be sent to students in May 2023 as usual. Scholarship application will be sent in September/October 2023.
