Cross-institutional language studies
Cross-institutional studies offer students the possibility to complete studies from other higher education institutions’ selections. Cross-institutional study selection consists mainly of optional studies. Note that the scope of optional studies is limited by your degree programme’s curriculum.
Please remember that before you enrol, you must first ask for permission to include an online language course in your degree. Permission to study language courses via cross-institutional studies is given by the Head of Languages and Communication or the teacher in charge of the course / language.
Remember that the following Finnish language courses in CampusOnline are not accepted by Centria University of Applied Sciences as mandatory or optional language courses:
- Finnish for Foreigners 1
- Finnish for Foreigners 2
- Finnish for Foreigners 3
The reason for this rejection is that these courses do not offer possibilities for students to reach the learning outcome criteria set for Finnish language learning on UAS level.
