Are the products you manufacture resistant to environmental stresses?
Vibrations and shocks during transport, storage, and use put a strain on products throughout their life cycle. Through appropriate tests, the manufacturer ensures that the product works under the promised environmental conditions. A high quality product can withstand even the harshest environmental stresses. We also carry out vibration testing under different temperature conditions.
The test event is documented and the customer receives the measurement data and a report with photos. The service is also complemented by other versatile Centria services.
Field measurement
We also have field measuring equipment Oros OR35 suitable for measuring vibration levels. The equipment can be used to measure e.g. accelerations and displacements from various surfaces. The measurement takes place in the laboratory in connection with the vibration testing equipment and in field conditions.
The 10-way analysis equipment can be used for a wide range of measurements With the 10-channel analysis equipment, the measurement target can be, for example, vibration exposure in buildings located along railroads or highways. In industrial halls with sources of vibration (rotating machines) and in the same space there are sensitive devices that cannot withstand high vibration levels. Rotating engines in, for example, cars, tractors and ships can also be one target for utilizing field measurement equipment. Field measurements are made using measurement sensors. For example, vibration exposures are measured with acceleration sensors.
Further utilization of data measured in vibration measurements is also possible. The measured data can be translated into a format that the vibrator can understand and thus continue research on the problem in laboratory conditions according to the actual vibration measured on the object.
Many things can be seen and analyzed from the measurement results. Vibration levels e.g. as acceleration / speed, movement distances, to see possible resonance frequencies, phase angles, etc.
Stabilization
We also have a machine condition analyzer (CSI2130). CSI 2130 is a vibration and data collector. The device can be used, for example, to balance various rotating devices, which are often the source of problems with vibration levels.
Unbalance is the uneven weight distribution of the rotor or other round body with respect to the desired axis of rotation. The imbalance creates a centrifugal force that causes vibration. The imbalance can be corrected, either by removing the substance or by adding it. The imbalance must be corrected with an equal counterforce. The CSI2130 analyzer uses two affinity sensors for balancing, which are placed in the product to be balanced along the vertical/horizontal axis.
