Delegation from China’s Foshan University visits Centria
A delegation from Foshan University led by President Mr Shaoming visited Centria’s Kokkola Campus on 19th of September.
Foshan is located in China’s super-growing Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. It shares one very strong similarity with Centria, namely a close connection with big new energy invested industries.
The two institutions expressed their interest towards possible cooperation in the fields of clean energy technologies, circular economy and bioeconomy. Foshan University has had double degree cooperation in the chemical engineering bachelor’s degree programme with Centria since 2016 and four students from Foshan University have graduated from Centria. Possibilities for new joint degree programme model 2+2, internships, exchanges and study tours were also brainstormed together for the future.
