Student selection
Student selection methods used in Centria for Bachelor’s degree programmes are the UAS exam, certificate-based selection and SAT scores. For Master’s degree programmes the selection methods are an online exam and an interview or GMAT / GRE test scores.
UAS exam (Joint application)
- The International UAS Exam is a joint digital entrance exam of the Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS), used for selecting students to study programmes leading to a bachelor’s degree and conducted in English.
- The entrance exam is completed by the applicant’s own computer.
Certificate-based selection (rolling admission)
- Eligibility for Bachelor’s degree programmes in Rolling Admission through certificate-based selection is based on a specific upper secondary qualification (such as a high school diploma) completed in an eligible country.
- The certificate-based selection is limited to the following countries or areas:
- EU/EEA countries and Moldova
- Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia
- Asia: China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Philippines, South Korea, Sri Lanka, Tajikistan, Thailand, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam
- South and North America: Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama
SAT scores (rolling admission)
- Applicants can apply for all Bachelor programmes except the Nursing programme with the SAT results. Only results from the new SAT test (taken after March 2016) are acceptable.
- Applicants of the SAT application can be admitted if they meet eligibility requirements, submit a valid application, attach required documents and successfully deliver the SAT scores by the deadline to Centria UAS.
Application for Master’s degrees
- Students are selected for the master’s degree programmes based on an interview or GMAT/GRE -scores.

Admission results
Joint application for Bachelor’s degrees, spring 2027
- The results for the first Joint application in spring 2027 will be published by 14 April 2027 at the latest.
- The deadline for accepting the offered study place is 9 July 2027, 3 pm Finnish time.
Certificate-based selection (rolling admission) for Bachelors’s degrees fall 2026 – spring 2027:
- Admission results for applicants in the rolling admission will be published during the application period.
- Admitted applicants must accept their study place and pay the tuition fee within 28 days of receiving the conditional offer letter.
SAT application (rolling admission) for Bachelor’s degrees fall 2026 – spring 2027:
- Admission results for applicants in the rolling admission will be published during the application period.
- Admitted applicants must accept their study place and pay the tuition fee within 28 days of receiving the conditional offer letter.
Joint application round for Master’s degrees, spring 2027:
- Admission results for applicants in the rolling admission will be published during the application period.
- Admitted applicants must accept their study place and pay the tuition fee within 28 days of receiving the conditional offer letter.
Appeals
In case an applicant believes a mistake has been made in student selection, they may file a request for rectification after the publication of the student selection results.
