Student selection
Student selection methods used in Centria for Bachelor’s degree programmes are the UAS exam, certificate-based selection and SAT scores. For Master’s degree programmes the selection methods are an online exam and an interview or GMAT / GRE test scores.
UAS exam (Joint application)
- The International UAS Exam is a joint digital entrance exam of the Finnish Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS), used for selecting students to study programmes leading to a bachelor’s degree and conducted in English.
- The entrance exam is completed by the applicant’s own computer.
Certificate-based selection (rolling admission)
- Applicants who have a qualification that provides eligibility for higher education studies from the EU/EEA-area, Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria, Egypt, Turkey or Nepal and have acceptable grades can apply in the certificate-based selection. We accept upper/ higher secondary level education and A-level education. Please read more here.
SAT scores (rolling admission)
- Applicants can apply for all Bachelor programmes except the Nursing programme with the SAT results. Only results from the new SAT test (taken after March 2016) are acceptable.
- Applicants of the SAT application can be admitted if they meet eligibility requirements, submit a valid application, attach required documents and successfully deliver the SAT scores by the deadline to Centria UAS.
Application for Master’s degrees (Joint application)
- Students are selected for the master’s degree programmes based on an online exam or GMAT/GRE -scores.
- Master of Business Administration, International Business Management, blended learning: Instructions for the entrance exam will be sent to eligible applicants via email. You can find more information, instructions and the schedule of the online exam here.

Admission results
Joint application for Bachelor’s degrees, spring 2026
- The results for the first Joint application in spring 2026 will be published by 15 April 2026 at the latest.
- The deadline for accepting the offered study place is 9 July 2026, 3 pm Finnish time.
Certificate-based selection (rolling admission) for Bachelors’s degrees fall 2025 – spring 2026:
- Admission results for applicants in the spring application round (December 2025-May 2026) will be published during the application period.
- The deadline for accepting the offered study place is 9 July 2026, 3 pm Finnish time.
SAT application (rolling admission) for Bachelor’s degrees fall 2025 – spring 2026:
- Admission results for applicants in the spring application round (December 2025-May 2026) will be published during the application period.
- The deadline for accepting the offered study place is 9 July 2026, 3 pm Finnish time.
Joint application round for Master’s degrees, spring 2026:
- Admission results for applicants will be announced in spring 2026
- The deadline for accepting the offered study place is 9 July 2026, 3 pm Finnish time
Appeals
In case an applicant believes a mistake has been made in student selection, they may file a request for rectification after the publication of the student selection results.
Requests for rectification must be filed within 14 days after the publication of results. An appeal based on personal circumstances will not be considered a valid reason for appeal. Student admission decisions can be changed only in those cases where it is clearly shown that the UAS has not followed the student admission criteria. Therefore, the request for rectification must be well-grounded and it should contain accurate information on where the UAS has not followed the criteria.
