AA3D final webinar successfully held
The Interreg Nord project Arctic Airborne 3D’s final webinar was held on June 1st with project partners present to tell the wide audience about the results and outcome of the projects. A guest speaker from FMI, Kaisa Lakkala, gave a speech about the climate change and it’s effects on the region. The following presentations were held during the 2-hour virtual event:

- Drones in arctic ITS & cryospheric research – Kari Mäenpää, FMI
- Introduction to climate change – Kaisa Lakkala, FMI
- Marking of reindeer calves: an innovative idea – Åsa Ericson, LTU
- Snow banks: sustainable fencing for reindeers – Johan Wenngren, LTU
- Drone demonstrations for reindeer herding – Marjut Koskela, Centria
- 3D maps for virtual hiking – Ossi Saukko, Centria
- Drones for small item logistics – Pasi Hakasaari, Centria
